Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Khadijah and Rodrigo.

In a couple weeks, Northshield will become a Kingdom and The Lord and Lady Heirs will step up as King and Queen. This is a very exciting time as everything will be new and fresh. Let the excitement sweep you up and get involved.

First, volunteer some of your time to help our neighbor's of Silfen Mere by volunteering an hour or two to help run the most notable event in the Kingdom of Northshield's history, its first Coronation. As a Barony, we agreed to support Silfen Mere in this venture, so please do volunteer.

Second, Their (soon-to-be) Majesties will need lots of help getting the newborn Kingdom rolling smoothly on its own two feet. There will be lots of new positions open that need to be filled. If you've never done so before, now is a really good time to think about holding a Kingdom position as an officer or a deputy. Feel free to talk to us our Master Owen if you have questions regarding any of these opportunities.

Third, Their (soon-to-be) Majesties will need tokens, gifts, and all sorts of largess not only for Their populace, but for royalty gifts, especially at Gulf Wars. Our own Baroness Giovanna is hosting a Largess Competition, please think of what you can do to help Their Majesties by either competing in the competition or gifting some other such items to Their Majesties.

Lastly, we don't want to forget everything we've grown up with in the Midrealm, its people, its support, its culture. Please make an effort to show our friends from Midrealm proper how much we'll miss being a part of the Midrealm and how much we appreciate their friendships. As exciting of a time it is for us, it is also a sad one for many of us who will miss being a part of the Dragon.

We also want to thank Their Stellar Highnesses Hrodir and Giulia for making our last months of being a Principality wonderful and well celebrated. It was a very special time for many of us and its always nicer to end on such a good note.

Next year will be a auspicious time for Nordskogen as well. It will be our 30th Anniversary as a Barony. We will be celebrating this at our 12th Night in January. Please get a hold of Lady Petranella with any ideas you may have to make this celebration better!

Its not only good to be Northshield, its GREAT to be Nordskogen!
