Their Excellencies letter to the populace from The Quill March 2006

Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Khadijah and Rodrigo,

We would like to thank our Canton of Nordleigh for the wonderful time We had at their event "Flake Off: Nordleigh Rebels." It was great fun with assassins, entertaining challenges to earn clues and a few "mostly dead" bodies lying around. The reliquary of St. Anthony was returned, only slightly worse for the wear and We somehow managed to address the grievances of the Nordleighites. Truly a memorable day filled with laughter and smiling faces graced by the presence of Their Royal Highnesses, Lars and Mary. Vivat!

Our Knight's Marshal, Sir Aaron, organized a Sweetheart Tournament for Wednesday February 15 with proceeds going to the American Heart Association. There were alternating bouts of armored fighting and rapier fighting, highlighting the skill and grace of the Barony's fighters. Combatants presented roses to their consorts and also had to show their skills with fine words as well as weapons. The populace had the opportunity to see our newest armored fighters, The Yeti, in action and to witness the skill of those who wield a rapier. Thank you to all who participated or took the time to attend.

We look forward to seeing you at upcoming events as we shed the snows of winter and move into the warm breezes of spring.
