Their Excellencies letter to the populace from The Quill January 2006

Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Rodrigo and Khadijah,

It is a fresh new year full of opportunities to learn new things, experience wonderful times with friends and family, and share what you have learned and experienced with others. As we turn a new leaf and make our resolutions, take this opportunity to promise yourself to learn one new thing you’ve been thinking of getting into and teach one thing to others that you have acquired skill at. Our barony is rich in knowledge and experience, let this year be even more prosperous in sharing that wealth than any before it.

We would also like to extend a personal invite to all of you to come enjoy our holiday season and the good company of friends and family at our Winter Moot on January 21st at Bunker Hills Regional Park Activities Center. This is a special time for all of us to take the time to appreciate each other.

We are sad to say that we’ve received so very few award recommendations from the populace. We have an online award recommendation for your ease of submission and really do need for all of you to tell us who is deserving of recognition. We try and watch what people are doing but there is only so much we can see and remember, we need you all to be our eyes and ears.

This will be a very busy and exciting year of events, start planning out what events you can attend and please try and invite someone along with you who might not have gone otherwise.

We hope this year is wonderful and rich in friendship, love, and prosperity for you!

May sunshine always grace your face so shadow never will.
