Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Rodrigo and Khadijah,

How could we start our first letter as Baron and Baroness with anything less than a huge THANK YOU to Baron Geoffrey and Baroness Anne of Warwick. Thank you for almost 9 years of leading the Barony, innumerable years of service, and most importantly for your friendship in the past and in the future.

This very important thank you can only be followed up with an equally important thank you and congradulations to Lady Saraidh ingen Guairi and Lord Leolin Gafar, their staff, and all the people who volunteered to make Nordskogen's Kingdom 12th Night such a wonderful success. The Barony is only as good as its people and this event showed all the Splendor that is Nordskogen!

As most of you heard from our first court, we will be concentrating on celebrating our champions. During our reign our champions will be chosen by a challenge of skill, competition or tournament as applies. In our attempt to honor our champions, during our reign as Baron and Baroness of Nordskogen, any feast within these lands will have a champion's table with places reserved for any attending champion of the Barony that has feast reservations as well as a place for their guest.

At this time we are eagerly asking for award recommendations, not only for recognition within the Barony, but so we may also suggest these worthy individuals to Their Majesties and Their Stellar Highnesses for the well earned recognition they deserve. So please email us at te-nordskogen@minstrel.com with any baronial recommendations and copy us on any principality or kingdom recommendations you may make on a member of our populace or bring them to a Wednesday meeting.
