From their Excellencies Nordskogen

Their Excellencies letter to the populace from The Quill April 2005

Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Rodrigo and Khadijah,

The calendar says that Spring has arrived in Nordskogen and yet a semi of snowflakes continues to fall from the heavens. April will be a busy time for us in Nordskogen with a moot, events hosted by both our cantons, Our Town meeting and many events throughout the Kingdom to attend. We invite you to join us at events for your presence warms our hearts and brings us joy.

All too soon comes the end of the reign of Siegfried and Bridei, first King and Queen of Northshield. They have lead us with grace, dignity and great love. We thank them for their service and dedication and will cherish the memory of their reign forever. As is right and proper the have provided us with heirs to the Griffin Throne. We encourage you to attend the Coronation of Tarach and Fina as the second King and Queen of Northshield, and to bear witness to the growth of our Kingdom.

Congratulations to her Excellency Giovanna Theresa Battista di Firenze on her elevation to the Order of Laurel. We would also like to thank Sir Aaron of Buckminster for volunteering his service in the position of Knight’s Marshal for the Barony. They are greatly appreciated for their dedication and service to the Barony and the Society.

Rodrigo answered the call of Their Majesties and, with others from the Barony, followed them to the Gulf Wars. They will be returning with many fine tales of honor and glory to tell. Listen and learn of the glory of Northshield. As you attend events we encourage you to share your tales, poems and songs with us by sending them to our Chronicler so that all may read them in The Crystal Quill.

May sunshine always grace your face so shadow never will.

Rodrigo and Khadijah
