Their Excellencies letter to the populace from The Quill April 2007

Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Rodrigo and Khadijah,

The Griffin Army took the field, a song on its lips, courage in its hearts, and a sparkle in its eyes and with the help of its allies was victorious in Ravine and Field rapier battles. Gulf Wars started with the Kingdoms of Trimaris and Ansteorra both courting Northshield once again to attempt to balance the sides as Northshield fielded the second largest rapier army next to Ansteorra. Northshield also fielded its largest army ever on the heavy field with every one of the White Scarves taking the heavy field as well. "One Kingdom One Army" is once again the motto of the war but this time it greatly impressed other Kingdoms as well. Tales of this war will travel far and wide, if you didn't get a chance to live these tales, make plans for next year now.

Shortly our Great King Sigfried and Beautiful Queen Gwyneth will rest Their weary heads and pass the duties of ruling this Kingdom to Their heirs, Prince Hrodir and Princess Giulia. Please raise a toast to Their Majesties for such a magical and explosive Reign and raise another to Their Highnesses in anticipation of Theirs.

The snow melts and the sun warms and shortly it will be time to bring out the camping gear and do the yearly preparations. Patch the canvas, waterproof the tent, wash the bedding, all the while thinking of the adventures this coming year has. As you plan to what events you will be able to attend this year give a thought to The Griffin Army. Whether you sing, bear water, fight, attend Royals, or just provide support you are a part of the Griffin Army.
