Their Excellencies letter to the populace from The Quill February 2007

Good Tidings and Salutations from Their Excellencies Rodrigo and Khadijah,

I cannot possibly start of this letter without giving a HUGE thank you and congratulations for such a wonderful 12th Night to the event stewards, Lady Genevieve Elisabeth Dumas and Lady Nuala ingh and all their staff including the wonderful feasting provided by Lady Terra. It is always so nice to share our holiday with friends and family and be rejuvenated by the magic that 12th Night always creates.

We also have a request for all of you who did attend 12th Night. Please tell us of all the wonderful things you saw people doing to make this event so magical. Tell us in person, tell us in emails, and most importantly tell us in award recommendations!

As we enter our fifth and final year as Baron and Baroness of Nordskogen, we look ahead and are excited about each and every opportunity we get to share our hearts, recognize our wonderful populace's achievements, make people smile and sometimes even cry, and help weave the magic of the dream. We have many events this year and ask of all of you to come out to as many as you possibly can and share this last year with us in gusto so it may fondly warm our hearts for many years to come.

There is no greater experience of magic, of the dream, of inspiration, and to feel as one as sons and daughters of the Griffon than the experience of a War. Northshield fields an army now every year at Gulf Wars respected and renowned on the rapier field and growing fame on the armored field. We are wooed and respected by Ansteorra and Trimaris. Each year new legends and incredible stories of valor and humor come from this sabbatical to these Southern lands. If you haven't had the chance to experience this and become the subject of stories and legend, than you really should consider joining the caravans of Northshield to the Gulf. I can promise you that you will have more fun than a thirteen year old girl at a sleep over (and trust me, I don't get any sleep with all the giggles that come out of that).
