Baronial Meetings and Interest Group Contacts

General Populace Meetings

Our general meetings take place every week, except for a few rare occurrences like holidays. Please go back to our home page for details, but the first Wednesday is called a moot. We (optionally) dress in garb and show off our latest portable projects.

The third Wednesday is reserved for our monthly business meeting where we plan for upcoming events and select new officers. Everyone is welcome to all of our meetings.

Our Barony also encompasses two Colleges. We encourage you to attend their meetings and activities, especially if you live close to them.

The Baronial College of Tor Aerie

Tor Aerie is an SCA group centered at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus and includes both students and friends. For more information about the group and its meeting times, see the College of Tor Aerie web page.

The Baronial Colleges of Nordleigh

Nordleigh is an SCA group centered at Northfield, MN. The group, which consists of both university students and non-students who live around Northfield, meets on the St. Olaf and Carleton campuses. For more information about the group and its meeting times, see the College of Nordleigh web page.

Interest Groups

People don't just belong to the SCA, they do things with other members. This list is a group of people who have volunteered to talk to people who are interested in learning more about their favored topics of study, whether an art or skill, performance area, fighting, history or anything else.

Choose an area you want to learn more about and contact the person listed there for information including any rehearsals, meetings or get-togethers each may have. They are mostly a pretty nice group of people! For your initial contact, please call between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Combat!

A large part of our membership is interested in combat, either by being an active participant, an avid observer, or someone who helps on or off the list field.
